How to request deletion
Email us at mostlyhumanquiteoften@gmail.com with the subject “Chess Analyzer account deletion request”.
- If you signed in with Google, send the request from that Google account's email address so we can verify ownership.
- If you used the app as a guest, your account is only a random anonymous identifier that is not linked to your identity. Mention that you used guest mode and, if possible, the approximate date you first used the app.
What gets deleted
On a verified request we permanently delete:
- Your account record (user ID, sign-in provider, account creation date, app tier).
- If you signed in with Google: the name and email address associated with your account.
Your games and analysis stay on your device and are not uploaded, so they are unaffected — uninstalling the app removes them. The one exception is the optional Cloud Analysis feature, which sends board positions to our analysis server while it is switched on; those positions are not stored, but a record of how much engine time your account used is. Say so in your request and we will delete that record along with your account.
Timeline and retention
Requests are completed within 30 days. We confirm by reply once deletion is done. No account data is retained afterwards.
